Better Understanding of Children.

Better Family Photography.

A NEW COURSE IS COMING!

What if the secret to better family photos wasn't better posing—but a better understanding of children?

I've spent years as a photographer, educator, and mom noticing something fascinating:

The photographers who create the most natural, connected family images aren't necessarily the ones with the most technical skill. They're the ones who know how to help children feel comfortable, understood, and genuinely engaged.

I'm currently creating a course for family photographers who want:

  • less stress during sessions

  • more authentic connection

  • happier families (because of happier kids!)

  • greater confidence working with children

  • and photographs that truly reflect who kids are

Drawing on my background in both education and photography, I'll teach practical ways to understand children's behavior, build trust quickly, communicate effectively with parents, and create sessions that feel easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.

Before I finish building it, I'd love your input.

Are you a photographer?

I'd love to hear about your experiences, challenges, and questions when photographing kids.

Are you a Parent?

If you’re willing to interview your kids either on paper, audio, or camera asking these 5 questions, please email me at hello@aneladeisler.com.

  1. How do you feel about photo sessions?  Why do you feel that way?

  2. What do photographers do that help you feel comfortable?

  3. What do adults get wrong about kids at photoshoots?

  4. What helps you feel ready for photo day?

  5. What’s your favorite way to look at photos of your family?

Please include their name, age, and your address as I’ll send a little thank you gift to any child who is willing to do an interview.   The content will be used in my course, on my website, and in my marketing.  Please feel free to email me with questions you may have.
