PHOTOGRAPHY FOR PLAYFUL KIDS AND THE GROWN-UPS THAT LOVE THEM
FAMILY + NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY IN + AROUND SEATTLE
HI, I’M ANELA
YOUR KIDS’ FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
I quickly learned when I had kids that the nurses, teachers, neighbors that took care of my kids not only were helpful, but they fed my soul. They were there for the little human that my heart was so deeply connected to in ways that I couldn’t. It’s always been about the kids for me (link to blog) and your photo session will also be all about the kids.
So yes, the photos we make will be to help you remember the “creeping slowly out of the room because you finally fell asleep” days…but really it’s for your kids to remember that they had someone who sang their favorite song while laying with them when their restless body just couldn't sleep.
PHOTOGRAPHY IS MY LOVE LETTER TO
“You are loved, you are loved more thank you’ll ever know… with every heartbeat I have left, I’ll defend your ever breath.“

Wonder /ˈwəndər/ the profound emotion of surprise, curiosity, and awe that you experience when encountering something rare, unexpected, or magnificent.
“Anela is a great photographer. She is really nice and takes amazing photos! I love taking photos with her and my family.”

“These are beautiful!!! It’s like if I daydreamed about my family and my life, this is what the images would look like! Thank you for capturing the spirit of our family so well!”

I’m here for…
The playful ones who crave to snuggle the people they love the most.
Art lovers, color lovers, creatives, and magic seekers… but I think we all are this.
Dancing in the living room, tickle fests in the hallway, food fights, sprinklers in the sun.
All families, however you define family.
“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, savor you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it will not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky, and want more than all the world your return.”
