I am honored to have the opportunity to come back to Roaring Mouse to do portraits of the kids! Both of my big kids attended and continue to learn at Roaring Mouse, your school is home to me! Itâs my hope to give you images of your child that honor their amazing childhood and also to be able to share updated images with friends and family near and far.
What is Fine Art School Photography?
This style of photography captures the genuine expressions of children. I use a simple black background and natural light to highlight your beautiful child. My time with each child is light hearted - I aim for them to be comfortable so I can capture their essence in the images. We talk about animals and ice cream. I donât force a smile!
When is picture day?
Wednesday March 25 at 9AM for Preschool
Thursday March 26 at 9AM for Creative Arts
What should my child wear?
While avoiding logos and solid black shirts, I recommend sending your child in clothes that make them (and you!) happy. Bold colors photograph really beautifully with the black backdrop.
How will I order?
About a month after photo day, you'll receive an email with a link right back here to this page where I'll add all the details and link to your gallery. There will be 2-5 images of every child both in black & white and color. You will then be able to order prints, gallery wraps, and digital downloads. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be open for just ~seven days so I can submit your print order selections and deliver them to your school for a quick turn around! See sample pricing here.
Are siblings welcome?
I have a limited amount of time available for siblings, just 4 pairs for each day of classes. You can sign up here to grab a spot. Iâm so sorry, if theyâre all full, I welcome you to come to my home for pop of photo day on May 23. Just grab a spot for the kid(s) who donât attend RM and Iâll photograph your kids together at my home as well. Itâs so very special to photograph siblings but it can be very disruptive to have so many extra kids and families on photo day in our small space in the art studio.
What if I miss photo day?
I will be hosting a pop up photo day at my home in my open garage studio on Saturday, May 23. You can sign up here for a slot if you miss photo day at Roaring Mouse, or if you have kids that donât attend Roaring Mouse that youâd like to get photographed.
Will my photos remain private?
You and your child's privacy is very important to me. Your child's images will be organized on the private proofing website by class and you will receive a special password for your class. If you would like your childâs individual album to have a private password, please let me know by emailing me at hello@aneladeisler.com by April 1. When your gallery is ready, I'll link a privacy form.
