Contact your Seattle City council members to ask them to use the Families, Education, Preschool, and Promise (FEPP) Levy to fund the Parent Education program this year. Use this link https://www.seattle.gov/council/members to find your city council member
E-mail Nate Humphrey at nhumphrey@sbctc.edu and urge the State Board of Community & Technical Colleges to keep funding for the Parent Education program. Ask them to “create a bridge for this one year until a certificate program is established.” They meet this week April 8 @ 1pm.

FAQs
What will the session be like?
Here’s a story, once there was a very sweet 2 year old who pooped in his diaper right at the start of the family’s 15 minute session. With his parents’ consent, we did the session anyway…and they have come back every year since. In conclusion, it’s short and fun enough to do with poop in your pants.
But really what will it be like?
I’ll ask your family to sit in one spot (if that’s comfortable), stand in another, and I’ll get some individual portraits of the kids and siblings if there’s more than one kiddo. If there’s time, well run and play a bit.
What should we wear?
Aim for happy people who are comfortable (and warm) and wearing what feels right while avoiding neon and big logos.
What if it rains?
Three cheers for Seattle! I sure hope we don’t have to, but if the weather calls for 40% or more chance of rain I’ll email you the day before with the reschedule information.
How many images will I get?
You’ll get many finished images in a private gallery. Your session includes 15 images to download. You will have the option to purchase more images and prints from your gallery which will be delivered within 3 weeks of your session.
