FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAITS âą April 8-9
I am honored to return to UW West Campus to photograph this beautiful community! Itâs my hope to give you images of your child(ren) that honor their unique beauty and the wonder of childhood.
What is Fine Art School Photography?
This style of photography captures the genuine expressions of children. I use a simple black background, natural light, and a tight frame. My time with each child is light hearted - I aim for them to be comfortable so I can capture their essence in the images. We talk about animals and ice cream. I donât force a smile!
When is photo day?
Wednesday, April 8: Most of the Portraits
Thursday, April 9: Infants and their siblings with class photos
Are siblings welcome?
If you have multiple kids at West Campus Childrenâs Center Iâll photograph them together during their day!
What can I do to help my child get ready?
Talk to your child about photo day. What was photo day like when you were a kid? What will these pictures be for? What will happen at school on photo day? How do they feel about photo day? Hereâs a little online flipbook I made to show what photo day will be like to share with you child.
What should my child wear?
While avoiding logos and solid black shirts, I recommend sending your child in clothes that make them (and you!) happy. Bold colors photograph really beautifully with the black backdrop but most importantly I want your child to feel like themself!
What if I miss photo day?
Anela will be hosting a pop up photo day at her home in the front yard on Saturday, May 23. You can sign up here for a slot if you miss photo day at UW West, or if you have kids that donât attend UW West that youâd like to get photographed.
How will I order?
About three weeks after photo day, you'll receive an email with a link right back here to this page where I'll add all the details and access to your gallery. There will be 3-5 images of every child both in black & white and color. You will then be able to order prints, gallery wraps, and digital downloads. The ordering process is simple and secure. The gallery will be live for just seven days so I can submit your selections and deliver them to your school for a quick turn around! See sample pricing here.
Will my photos remain private?
You and your child's privacy is very important to me. Your child's images will be organized on the private proofing website by class and you will receive a special password for your school. If you would like your childâs individual album to have a private password, please let me know by emailing me at hello@aneladeisler.com by April 9. When your gallery is ready, I'll link a privacy form to it so you can let me know if I can share your images.
