And We’re Home

Grateful for these young ones that

keep it ever moving, leaving us so tired

so tired of the unknowning

tired of waiting to accept it all

Now that the kids will be home at least for 6 weeks, I woke up needing to take control in some way of this new strange world we’re in. The teacher in me is in full gear and I want to share my thoughts, and I hope it’ll help you too. There is so much we can’t control with this global pandemic, but here are some things you can control to make the best of this.

You know those people that always leave you feeling better about life than before you saw them. That’s this family.

I love kids. I love schools. I miss being a teacher but I love that I still get to spend time in schools as a photographer! Here is a sample of images from families that gave me permission to post.

I remember the last time I booked a session and was so excited, until it was time to get ready (then the session was great and I loved my photos). I overthought my family wardrobe so much and nobody even ended up wearing the clothes I picked out! So, I have some tips that will hopefully help!
